The opening credits feature various photographic and painted vistas, as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York City landscape: a statue of Sioux Chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (chest armor) atop the Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller Statue on the Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch placed on a Major Manhattan "Avenue". In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, there are several numbered "avenues" that are intersected by smaller numbered streets. I don’t think any other actor could play this role.
His supporting cast is no-name, I didn’t recognize the other actors
Sly is bigger than the small screen and gave the best lines in this show. I’ve only seen ep 1 on YT, I don’t have Paramount, but if there’s more coming out on YT, I’d definitely see it. And shooting in Tulsa gives the series a «shmut» versus shooting on the back in Hollywood.
This suits him
I think Stallone hit his peak with the Creed movies and this TV series. Age is doing him well. I’m glad he’s far away from those action movies, which I think he’s outgrown.
